Shore to ship power project located at 24 berths to allow ships’ “Cold Ironing” while plugged into the shore power outlet. Construction, startup, and testing required active ship at berth connection and testing of shore power to integrate and synchronize with ship board power distribution system. The PLC based power transfer sequence required 9-months of construction and installation of transformers, switchgears, cabling, and shore side power outlets suitable to by connected with ship side cabling that dropped off the side of the ship to be plugged into shore side connectors.
